Heritage Ridge Residential Project
The project is located is on vacant land south of U.S. Highway 101 and the Union Pacific Railroad corridor and north of Camino Vista Road . The project is proposed on Assessor’s Parcel Numbers (APNs) 073-060-031 through -043. The proposed project is 132 senior (62 years and older) rental apartments and 228 workforce rental apartments. A two-acre neighborhood park is also proposed. The project application also includes a Vesting Tentative Map to consolidate 13 existing parcels into three parcels and a modification of zoning regulations to provide 152 spaces for the senior apartments rather than the required 183 spaces and to provide 345 spaces for the workforce housing rather than the required 367 spaces.
Marriott Residence Inn and Hollister Center Project

Old Town Village Mixed-Use Project
The project site (APN 071-130-23) is located immediately west of the intersection of Kellogg Way and S. Kellogg Avenue in the City of Goleta (City). The property encompasses a total of 12.31 gross acres. (The property is known as the Page Site.) It includes a 175-unit mixed use development on a 12.31-acre site. The site is proposed to be divided, leaving 9.84-acres to the south for development while the northern 2.47 acres are to be used for storm water detention and a proposed extension of Ekwill Road. The 175 townhomes would include:
• 113 traditional townhomes – 3-stories with two and four bedrooms and an attached 2-car garage
• 34 flexible live-work units – 3-stories with three bedroom units with ground level for commercial use or an office/den with an attached 2-car garage
• 28 shopkeeper units – 3-stories with three bedrooms and a separate commercial space on the ground level with an attached 2-car garage

Cortona Apartments Project - 6830 Cortona Drive
Harvest Hill Ranch Project
The project is located at 880 Cambridge Drive; APN 069-620-044; Case 12-086-RZ-VTM. It includes a rezone from Design Residential 1.8 Units Per Acre (DR-1.8) to Single Family Residential, 20,000 square-foot minimum lot size (20-R-1). It also includes a vesting tentative tract map to subdivide a 5.59 gross acre (4.7 net acre) property into seven (7) lots (6 net new) for development of one single family dwelling per lot, including architectural guidelines for the subdivision.

Somera Medical-Dental Office Building
A Development Plan was requested for the construction of a new two-story, 20-000-square foot medical-dental office building at 454 South Patterson Avenue. Associated with the Development Plan application are Modification requests to allow approximately 22 square-feet of paved parking surfaces within the front yard setback and compact parking spaces within the northern side yard setback. The proposed two-story medical-dental building would have a maximum height of 35-feet, as permitted within the PI zoning district.

CITY PROJECTS
Line 96 Decommissioning Project
The project includes proposed development of a neighborhood park on approximately four acres identified as 170 South Kellogg Avenue, APN 071-090-090. The proposed park will include recreational amenities such as a multi-use field, basketball court, handball court, skateboard plaza, picnic areas, walking paths and associated features. The project also includes construction of a 0.2 mile long, 10-foot wide Class I multi-use path along the west side of San Jose Creek from Armitos Avenue to Hollister Avenue in Old Town Goleta. A portion of the multi-use path goes through the proposed park. The project also includes a proposal to amend the General Plan designation for the subject 4-acre site from Old Town Commercial for the southerly 0.67 acre (formerly a portion of APN 071-090-078) and Planned Residential (10-units per acre) for the northerly 3.33 acres (formerly 071-090-077) to Open Space/Active Recreation; and a rezone of the site from C-2 Retail Commercial (southerly 0.67 acre) and Design Residential (10 units per acre) (northerly 3.33 acres) to Recreation (REC).
Islamic Center Project
The project site is located at the northeast corner of Los Carneros Road and Calle Real (APN 077-160-035) in Goleta. The application includes a rezone to change the existing Highway Commercial (CH) zone designation on the parcel to Professional and Institutional (PI) to create consistency with the General Plan/Coastal Land Use Plan (GP/CLUP) designation of Office and Institutional. The proposal is to construct a new 7,572 square foot two-story building with a 2,230 square foot non-habitable basement. A 1,200 square foot residence would be located within the building. Total on-site development would be 9,802 square feet. The new building would be for assembly and related uses and a residence. Access to the project site is proposed via a one-way driveway through the site with an entrance from Los Carneros Road and an exit onto Calle Real. This ingress and egress is designed to be incorporated into the roundabout at Los Carneros Road and Calle Real. The project design includes 42 parking spaces placed at a diagonal on both sides of the one-way driveway.

McDonald's Drive-through Project
The is the addition of a drive-through facility for the existing McDonald’s Restaurant located in the Camino Real Marketplace; 6900 Marketplace Drive; APN 073-440-024. The project will consist of an approximate 204-foot drive-through with pedestrian access and circulation improvements along with additional crosswalk striping across Storke Road. An Addendum is prepared to the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Camino Real Project that was certified in July 1997 (96-ERI-03).
Rincon Palms Revised Hotel and Conference Center Project
The project site is bounded by Hollister Avenue on the south, Storke Road on the west, and Cortona Drive on the east, and is commonly known as 6868 Hollister Avenue. The project consists of a revised Development Plan. A Development Plan was previously approved on this site for a 112-room hotel and 6,000 square foot free-standing restaurant with 189 parking spaces. The current project proposes a 149-room hotel and 5,440-square foot conference center. The project includes frontage improvements along the three adjacent public streets, a new driveway on Cortona Drive, traffic signal and related improvements or reimbursement of its fair share of costs at Coromar Drive and Hollister Avenue, a new lane on Storke Road north of Hollister Avenue, new street lights, and new and relocated utilities.Planning Commission Hearing: July 22, 2013
Kenwood Village Residential Project
This project includes a total of 60 units on a 10-acre undeveloped site on the 7300 block of Calle Real. The project includes 13 single-family residence, 20 duplexes and 27 triplexes, six units that will be affordable to moderate and upper moderate income households. A rezone, vesting tract map, development plan, and development agreement are included. A second, joint DEIR will address similar General Plan Amendments for the Kenwood Village project and the Shelby Trust project including amendments to the Land Use Plan Map, the Conservation Element Subpolicy and the Open Space Map.

Mariposa at Ellwood Shores Assisted Living Project
The project involves the construction of a 70,510 square foot (SF) assisted-living community accommodating a maximum of 99 elderly residents with project access provided via two access points of Viajero Drive, one located in the southwest corner of the project site and one in the northwest corner of the project site as well as landscaping and frontage improvements within the City right-of-way of Hollister Avenue and Viajero Drive per the project architectural and civil site plans. The project also includes a request to rezone the property from M-RP (Business Park) to C-3 (General Commercial), an ordinance amendment for a Development Agreement between the City and the applicant for the provision of infrastructure, a conditional use permit (CUP) to allow a special care facility in the C-3 zone district, and modifications to the City’s parking requirements to reduce the required parking from 85 spaces to 49 spaces as well as to allow up to four (4) parking spaces within the secondary front setback along Viajero Drive.
Shelby Trust Residential Subdivision Project
This project includes 60 market-rate single-family lots on a 14.38-acre lot located on Cathedral Oaks Road adjacent to Glen Annie Golf Course. A rezone, ordinance amendment, vesting tract map, development plan, and development agreement are included. Westar Mixed-Use Project
The project is located on a 23.558-gross acre site at 7000 Hollister Avenue within the Inland Zone of the City of Goleta. Elements of the project include demolition of the existing 9,546-square feet of development consisting of a television studio and drive-thru ATM facilities and construction of 274 multi-family residential apartment units on 13.70 net acres in the northern portion of the site and 90,054 square feet of commercial space (including community shopping center and 5 additional residential live/work condominium units) on the southern 9.765 net acres of the site.Willow Springs II Project
The project site is located north of Hollister Avenue, west of Aero Camino, and east of Los Carneros Road and Calle Koral. The Willow Springs II development consists of a Vesting Tentative Map for condominium purposes and a Development Plan for 100 condominium units with associated infrastructure improvements and an extension of Camino Vista Road between Aero Camino and the existing Willow Springs development.
Ekwill-Fowler Road Extensions
The project consists of construction of two new roadways and operational improvements, that include the extensions of Fowler Road from the existing South Street stub to existing Fairview Avenue, Ekwill Street from the existing Kellogg Avenue intersection with Kellogg Way westward to connect to Fairview Avenue, roundabouts at the intersections of Fowler Road and Fairview Avenue, Ekwill Street and Pine Avenue, and at the intersections of Hollister Avenue with State Route 217 on and off ramps, and the extension of the existing northbound right turn lane for Kellogg Avenue onto Hollister Avenue. The two new roadway extensions would contain one lane in each direction, left turn pockets, bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the street and extensive landscaping. The project also includes construction of a portion of the Old San Jose Creek trail along Ekwill Street.

Schwan Self Storage Project
This project is located at 10 South Kellogg. The project would include demolition of all existing development on site and construction of three separate, 3-story mini-storage buildings inclusive of an office/sales space and manager's unit on a 2.23-acre site. Total new square footage on site would be 110,600.

South Fairview Commercial Center Project
The proposed project is located at 151 South Fairview Avenue. The project would include construction of a 16,216 square-foot, two-story mixed use structure (commercial, office, residential) on 0.80 acres.

South Kellogg Recycling Facility Project
The project is located at 903 South Kellogg Avenue. The project would include construction of a 960 square-foot office building and 1,840 square-foot equipment garage on a 4.935 acre parcel.

Village at Los Carneros Project
This project includes 465 unit residential project on 43+ acres located to the north of the Allergan buildings in the Campus Pointe Business Park between Los Carneros Road, Tecolotito Creek, and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks in the City of Goleta. The project includes a request for a General Plan Amendment to remove the current AHO (Affordable Housing Opportunity) Overlay on APNs 073-330-026, 028, and 029, a rezone of the entirety of the project site to PRD 465, and a request for approval of an ordinance amendment for a new Development Agreement between the City of Goleta and CHA McKinley Goleta LLC.
Cortona Apartments
This project at 6830 Cortona Drive includes a Development Plan for 171 rental apartment units contained within seven two-story buildings and one three-story building with an associated recreation building and pool area on 8.86 acres zoned DR-20 in the Inland Area of the City. The project also includes an Ordinance Amendment for a Development Agreement to provide funding for a future fire station in western Goleta.

Medical Office Building for the Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital
The project is located at 5333 Hollister Avenue. It includes a development plan application to allow the demolition and replacement of the existing two-story, 41,724 square foot medical office building and associated infrastructure. The development plan includes a request for modifications to the setback, parking, height, and landscaping standards of the Article III, Inland Zoning Ordinance. Additional development plan elements include landscaping, utilities, and drainage improvements. Project grading would involve 112 cubic yards of cut and 1,417 cubic yards of fill.
Montecito Bank and Trust Building
This project is located at 6900 Hollister Avenue. The project would include a new 1-story 6,018-square foot office building and two drive-up teller stations. Parking and driveway access would be shared with the adjoining Storke-Hollister Research Center. The project includes a General Plan Amendment, a Rezone, a Lot Line Adjustment, a Conditional Use Permit, a request for a modification to the parking requirement, and a Development Plan Amendment.South Fairview Commercial Center
The project is located at 151 South Fairview Avenue within Old Town Goleta. The application includes a Final Development Plan for construction of a 16,216 square-foot, two-story mixed use structure including 8,757 square feet of retail space on the first floor, 6,206 square feet of office space, and two one-bedroom apartments on the second floor. The application also includes a request for approval of a Conditional Use Permit for the two proposed residential units as part of the mixed-use project. In addition, the applicant is requesting approval of a Lot Line Adjustment to adjust the property boundary along South Fairview Avenue to reflect the existing alignment and improvements to the roadway previously constructed by the County of Santa Barbara.
Bacara Resort & Spa Completion Phase Project
The proposed project includes a 55-unit condominium hotel development to be constructed on the westerly one-third of one parcel consisting of 39.17 acres located immediately to the east of the existing Bacara Resort & Spa at 8301 Hollister Avenue.

Renco Encoders Addition Project
The property is located at 26 Coromar Drive. The proposed project involves a Final Development Plan to request an as-built permit for the existing, approved development on site. Phase II includes a clean room addition, addition of two storage outbuildings, and demolition of an existing covered storage area. Phase III includes a two-story office addition.
Taylor Tentative Parcel Map
The 1.91 acre parcel is located at 590 North Kellogg Avenue in Goleta. The applicant proposes a subdivision into four parcels and modified ingress/egress including a partial cul-de-sac. Conceptual building footprints are included for illustrative purposes only.

On March 30, 2009, the City of Goleta transmitted to UC Santa Barbara comments on the Recirculated Draft EIR for UCSB's proposed Long Range Development Plan. The UCSB campus is not within the City's jurisdiction.

ATK Space Systems
The project at 600 Pine Avenue involves an Ordinance Amendment (08-157-OA) to exempt the proposed project from the Goleta Growth Management Ordinance (GGMO) requirements and a Development Plan Revision (08-157-DP RV01) to construct a 25,026-square foot addition to an existing 59,535-square foot research and development building plus parking lot expansion, landscaping and grading.

Camino Real Hotel
This is an Addendum dated October 31, 2008, to the proposed Environmental Impact Report for the Camino Real Hotel Project at 401 Storke Road. It identifies and discusses potential impacts, mitigation measures, monitoring requirements, and residual impact for identified subject areas. Potentially significant effects on the environment are anticipated in the following areas: Aesthetics/Visual Resources, Air Quality, Biology, Cultural, Geological and Drainage Processes, Land Use, Noise, & Water Resources.

Citrus Village
The application includes a General Plan Amendment, a one-lot subdivision, and a Development Plan to provide for 9 residential units within 4 two-story buildings and associated amenities on a vacant parcel located near the northeast corner of the intersection of Calle Real and Ellwood Station Road.
Marriott Residence Inn and Hollister Center Project
The project includes a Development Plan for a 140-room extended stay hotel (with Marriott Residence Inn identified as the operator) on a vacant parcel located at the northeast corner of Hollister Avenue and Robin Hill Road. A lot split is proposed. The project also includes a General Plan Amendment, an Ordinance Amendment, and a Development Plan Amendment. The Proposed Final Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared.

The project also includes an Ordinance Amendment, Rezone and Development Plan. The request is also to consider the proposed Final Mitigated Negative Declaration.
CEQA reviews from 2008 to the present are achieved according to the year in which the approval was received.
Cabrillo Business Park
The Cabrillo Business Park project site is a 92.25-acre parcel located on the southwest corner of the Los Carneros Road-Hollister Avenue intersection, in the newly incorporated City of Goleta due west from the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport.
