The 1-gallon container comes with postage-paid return packaging for shipping to a medical waste disposal company. To request a sharps container, contact MarBorg at 805-963-1852.
Organics Recycling Requirements:
- This sector will continue to have access to current services for brown bin trash, blue bin recycling, and green bin green waste.
- Residents are asked to continue to place their organic waste, such as food scraps, into the Brown Trash Bin. No new bins will be provided to separately collect food scraps. The food scraps in the brown bin will be processed and composted at the ReSource Center, requiring no change for residential customers. To reduce the amount of food waste that goes into the brown bin, home composting is still encouraged as the preferred alternative.
- Important: Please note that all Greenwaste or yard trimmings should still be placed in the green bin, as this material is processed into mulch separately.
