In response to public requests, the comment period has been extended to Monday, April 6, 2009 at 5:00 pm for the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Track 3 General Plan Amendments.

The City is also pleased to announce a second public hearing to receive comments on the Draft SEIR on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 6:00 pm.

You are welcome to attend the hearing and share your written and/or oral comments about the adequacy of the environmental information that is presented in the Draft SEIR, as well as contribute data and factual information for consideration in the preparation of a final document.

Alternatively, you may choose to simply forward your written comments to the City by the April 6th deadline (attn: Dan Nemechek) at the address listed above, by fax at (805) 685-2635, or by e-mail at dnemechek@cityofgoleta.org.

There are several means to review the Draft SEIR, including:
1. View or download it on-line;
2. View it at City Hall (in the reception area at the Permit & Design Center) at 130 Cremona Drive, Suite B, Goleta, CA 93117;
3. View it at the Goleta Library at 500 North Fairview Avenue;
4. View it at the Goleta Community Center at 5679 Hollister Ave # 1;
5. View it at the UCSB Library
6. Purchase a CD of the Draft SEIR for $10 at City Hall; and
7. Purchase a hard copy of the Draft SEIR for $50 at City Hall
