Free one-on-one tutoring for adults who would like help learning to use computers, tablets, smartphones, e-readers, digital cameras, and other electronic devices will be available beginning April 14 at the Goleta Library, 500 N. Fairview Ave. in Goleta. Individual sessions of up to 30 minutes in length will be available by appointment on Mondays between 11 a.m. and noon. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the Goleta Library at 805-964-7878.
Computer tutoring is also available at other Santa Barbara Public Library System libraries. Sessions are tailored to the interests of the learner, and can include such topics as email, Facebook, downloading ebooks, magazines and music from the library web site, word processing, web searches, and more. No previous computer experience is necessary. A library internet computer can be used for instruction, or learners may bring their own devices.
