The Goleta branch of the Santa Barbara Public Library System is offering a free class on how to sell items on Craigslist. The class will be held on Monday, April 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Goleta Library, located at 500 N. Fairview Ave. in Goleta.

Participants will learn the steps to creating a ”for sale” ad, including how to choose a category and write a description for the item, add photos of the item to the listing, and respond to inquiries after the ad is posted. In order to participate, class members should have an email address and basic computer skills.

Because space is limited, those planning to attend should preregister by calling the Goleta Library at 805-964-7878.
