For those who love to play Scrabble but can’t find an available opponent, the Goleta branch of the Santa Barbara Public Library System is starting Scrabble Time. The adult Scrabble aficionados club will meet twice a month on Monday afternoons, beginning March 10 and March 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Goleta Library is located at 500 N. Fairview Ave. in Goleta.

Beginning, intermediate and advanced players are welcome to participate and to bring a bag lunch if desired. Call the Goleta Library at 805-964-7878 for more information. Scrabble boards and tiles will be provided by the Library.
