At the start of the spring planting season, Supervisor Wolf’s program is designed to bring practical information to her constituents in the Second District and throughout the South Coast. Supervisor Wolf says: “We each can do our part to conserve energy and water and reduce our pesticide use. Starting with our landscaping is an excellent way to contribute to the collective effort to transform the Central Coast into a sustainable community.”
The day includes give-aways and raffles including a copy of Owen Dell’s new book, Sustainable Landscaping for Dummies, and a compost bin from Santa Barbara County among many other surprises.
