The Santa Barbara Public Library System invites all ages to enjoy an evening slide show about stars, constellations, and their stories, followed by viewing the night sky through telescopes on Thursday, November 7 at the Goleta Library. The slide presentation by the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit, in partnership with the Santa Barbara Public Library System, begins at 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., weather permitting, the Earth’s moon and distant stars and galaxies will be visible through the telescopes provided courtesy of the SB Astronomical Unit. The Goleta Library is located at 500 N. Fairview Ave., in Goleta.
