The Goleta Public Library presents local musician Craig Newton performing beloved American classics just in time for Independence Day. Using his talents as a multi-instrumentalist, Newton will sing well-known songs, and families in attendance are encouraged to sing along. This free event is best for children ages 4 and up.

These performances are part of the annual free Summer Reading Program for children and teens. Students are encouraged to visit the library, read books, and earn prizes. The Dig Into Reading program for children, and the Groundbreaking Reads program for teens, run through July 31 at all library branches.
This program is supported by the Friends of the Libraries, non-profit volunteer organizations that financially support library programs and services. For more information, contact the Santa Barbara Central Library’s Youth Services Desk at 805-564-5603, visit SBPLibrary.org or your local branch.
