On Monday, June 10, the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Masters of City & Regional Planning studio will present conceptual Vision Plans for Old Town to the public and Planning Commission. The Visioning Plans are based on public engagement conducted by the students as well as the students’ practice and understanding of relevant urban design principles. The students will be speaking to conceptual development, land use, public space, design guidelines, and implementation and phasing. This final presentation concludes a 10-week process in which the Planning and Environmental Review Department helped facilitate an educational process of producing three conceptual Vision Plans for Old Town.
The meeting will start at 6pm and be held in Goleta City Hall Council Chambers.
