The Santa Barbara Public Library System invites high school students to study halls nights at the Goleta Library to prepare for the upcoming college admission tests in April and May.
The library will provide pizza to keep students’ energy going, and they may bring their own drinks. The library will remain open only for high school students of A.C.T. test-taking age, and students must show their high school i.d. to stay past the library’s regular closing hours. Library staff will be present to provide A.C.T. study guides and reference materials, but there will be no tutors. “We wanted to provide our area students with a quiet place to study before these important exams,” said Branch Manager Allison Gray.
For more information, call Allison Gray at the library, (805) 964-7878. All library programs are FREE and open to the public, for more information, visit the Santa Barbara Public Library System’s web site at www.SBPLibrary.org.
