APPLES, PUMPKINS, & PEARS, OH MY!
Adults and teens are invited to the Goleta Library on Saturday October 20th from 2:30 to 4:00pm to learn an exciting way to recycle books into autumnal art. This bookcraft workshop is part of a series offered by the Goleta Library demonstrating creative ways to turn “retired” books into works of art. Pre-registration guarantees a spot in this workshop.
Librarian Allison Gray will show the class how to cut old paperback books into shapes, using dyes to color the edges of the pages. Participants will make at least three “book fruits.” The Library will supply all materials; students should bring their imaginations.
To register, or for more information, call the Library at (805) 964-7878. For more information about library programs, visit the library online at www.SBPLibrary.org. All library programs are FREE and open to the public.
