Come at 9:00 a.m. for Coffee & Community / Café y Communidad with Mayor Paula Perotte and Mayor Pro Tempore Luz Reyes-Martín (District 1). After, participate in Beautify Goleta and help pick up litter in the area. Bring the whole family! The kids will enjoy the sidewalk chalk painting, playground and activities in the grassy area. Spanish translation will be provided.

Mayor Perotte said, “I’m grateful for the chance to join Goleta’s First District Mayor Pro Tempore, Luz Reyes-Martín, in meeting with both long-time and new friends. I look forward to the opportunity to listen and learn from residents about their ideas and issues”.

The Kellogg School Ocean Guardians will be helping to beautify Goleta by picking up trash. They will also be presented with Certificates of Recognition for XXX. Join us in congratulating these young environmental stewards!

Bulky Item Drop Off – 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The City offers a free Bulky Item Drop-Off as part of Beautify Goleta. This is a great way to get rid of those unwanted bulky items taking up space in your house, garage and/or yard. Bring them to Good Shephard Lutheran Church and Preschool Parking Lot at 380 N Fairview Avenue. Drop-offs before or after the event will not be accepted. You are encouraged to arrive early; the event will close early if capacity is reached before 1:00 p.m. As a reminder, electronics, medicine, and hazardous waste will NOT be accepted.

We hope you can join us for a full morning, July 20th
