Bats are often presented as pests. In reality, they are an important factor in an eco-system where they keep the insect population at acceptable levels for agriculture. Mary Wensel has studied and cared for bats in diverse environments and will share her passion for these intriguing animals, FREE OF CHARGE, at the Goleta Valley Library on, March 14, 2010.
