Teens ages 14-17 are eligible to volunteer at the library and can earn Community Service Hours. Throughout the year, they can serve as Homework Help volunteers, provide support for children’s craft programs, clean library materials, shelve items, and assist staff with special projects. During the summer, many teens help with the annual Summer Reading Program.
The 2024 Summer Reading Program will kick off this year on Saturday, June 15th and go until Saturday, July 27th – and we need your help to make it a success!
We are looking for motivated, book-loving teens (ages 14-17) to award prizes to participants in grades 6 and under, help with special events, and get involved in their community.
Follow the steps below to get started at your library.
