The Goleta Planning Commission will consider recommendations to the City Council regarding the Track 1 Housing Element Update and related General Plan Amendments at this meeting.

The Goleta General Plan / Coastal Land Use Plan Housing Element contains policies that guide future housing development to meet the needs of all income groups and special needs groups in the City of Goleta. The City refers to the set of proposed amendments to the Housing Element as “Track 1."
