Thank you for your interest in our award-winning LEAD Goleta Bilingual Community Academy! This is a great opportunity to learn more about City government and how it works.

WHEN & WHERE: The program consists of six classes held on consecutive Thursdays January 16 - February 23, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Most classes will be at Goleta City Council Chambers, 130 Cremona Drive, but some are out in the community. You must be able to attend all six classes to participate.

WHO: The class can accommodate up to 30 participants. We strongly encourage students to apply. Priority will be given to Goleta residents, but the program is open to anyone who resides in Santa Barbara County.

The City is pleased to again offer a bilingual LEAD Goleta Community Academy with simultaneous Spanish interpretation available.

The City will review all submitted applications and follow up with applicants in early December.
